George, aka OB-1, has been working in the gun business doing gun smithing and now building custom rifles for over 14 years. George has learned from some of the best. He apprenticed under three different gunsmiths who together have a total of 75 years experience. For the past 12 years, George has been working with precision bolt-action rifles and for the last ten years he has been building custom rifles professionally. George has worked with and visited the U.S. Marine Corp Precision Weapons Section in Quantico, Virginia. And visited the U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Center Armory in Crane, Indiana and the U.S. Army AMU Shop at Ft Benning, GA to gain even more information and experience. George has seven years military experience as an MP. He graduated from the U.S. Army Small Arms School , Vilsec, Germany. George was assigned as an armorer while at the 501st MP Company then moved onto Military Police Investigations for USMCA Ansbach Germany. George has been in the law enforcement field for 18 years. George retired from North Kansas City Police Department in 2005. While at NKCPD, he was assigned to the K-9 Unit, With additional duties as the Dept Armorer, SWAT Sniper, and Range Officer/Trainer. George remains working with the NKCPD as a Range Officer. George is an avid shooter and outdoorsman. George takes pride in the quality custom rifles that G.A.
